One of the world’s smallest wild sheep, we hunt these small specimens in the Pyrenees, and together with the Pyrenean Chamois, they are the jewels of mountain hunting in the Pyrenees.
Males have a shoulder height of 25-32 inches (65-80 cm) and weigh 70-100 pounds (30-45 kg). In winter, their coat is at its best, with a dark coloration and a curious beard on adult males.
They live freely in the Pyrenees range, in open mountains near the tree line, and sometimes, they can be found at higher altitudes than the Pyrenean Chamois.
You’ll have at your disposal a professional team of assistants. Loaders who will handle shotguns with care and clean them after hunting, chauffeurs, scouts, and dog kennels, all to ensure you enjoy the authentic Spanish hunting experience.
In the field, we provide our own shotgun equipment: side-by-side and over-and-under shotguns in 12 and 20 gauge. Moreover, we offer chairs for hunters and companions, protective discs, a gunsmith stand for placing weapons, screens, a cartridge briefcase, goggles, and even an umbrella. Everything you need for your hunting day.
The season begins on October 1 and ends on February 28.
