The guides at Rupisalmo were the most skilled guides I’ve ever hunted with and made my Gredos Ibex Hunt a dream come true. They were great in the planning process, and even better once I landed. The accommodations exceeded my expectation, the treated me like family every second of the trip. They are very skilled and knowledgeable with the terrain and animals. I don’t know where to even start. From booking the experience with Rupisalmo and I say experience bc it was way more beyond just hunting beceite ibex to the drop off after was priceless. Starting off discussing with Josep what trophy we were looking for and booking the experience was as smooth as could be. He politely answered any and all questions we had regarding booking, payment, accommodations, and the hunt. Then finally came the day in which we were picked up from the airport by both Josep and Miquel and driven to our very nice accommodations and got settled in. Afterwards we were taken out for a nice dining where we ate and all became acquainted which seemed we had known each other for years. The next 2 days were spent glassing and stalking on some very nice ibex but just couldn’t make it happen. We finished each evening fine dining with Josep and Miquel talking about the day and plan for the following. Coming into the last day I was starting to get nervous as the weather had turned for the worst with freezing cold rain and high winds but the Rupisalmo team would always insure there was No Problem. As the rain began to lighten and the fog lifted we spotted our target and made a plan. Again we went down and up the mountain to cut off the herd with the target ibex and got set up just in time to make a perfect shot. We all celebrated on that mountain as we all worked together to get such a trophy. Thanks to Josep, Miquel, and the whole team that never gave up, I have a trophy of a lifetime, memories that will last forever, and life long friends! Josep and Miquel with Rupisalmo is the real deal! Thanks again!

Our experience with RupiSalmo and our friends Josep and Mikel was fantastic, definitely worth repeating. Their great knowledge of the hunting areas gave us the best opportunities to harvest old Pyrenean Chamois males.
