Beceite Ibex
The Beceite Ibex, after the Gredos one, is the largest and most impressive trophy among the 4 subspecies. With a very particular shape like a ’plane’ (long, thick and wide open horns). It is a very cautious animal. Old males usually go alone when they are old and accompanied by other males in spring and summer.
Tortosa-Beceite, a mountainous massif located on horseback of three provinces (Tarragona, Castellón and Teruel) with a very unique steep orography, with deep valleys and rock formations. Seeds of dry land, almond and olive trees make up the typical landscape of this area. The closest airports are Valencia and Barcelona, located at 1.30h and 2h respectively from the hunting area.
Hunting Area
More than 100,000 ha of private hunting grounds in the heart of the Beceite mountain range between 2500fts and 6500 fts above sea level with different scenarios absolutely suitable for any physical state of the hunter.
Beceite Ibex Hunting Season
The best dates to hunt an adult Ibex is during the rut time, when the old males leave behind their lairs to fight other males and attract as many females as possible. It is during this period when we will have more chances to hunt big male. In spring, it is also when we have options to bring down a good Ibex in the fields.

Accommodation and gastronomy
Depending on the area where we will hunt, we’ll stay in a beautiful lodge (among the 5 best in Spain) or in beautiful hotels with lovely views. The hunting areas are close to the city of Morella, a very touristic city due to its particular strength that surrounds it, where we can enjoy tourist routes with wine supplies. The cuisine is exquisite being able to taste the different meats and goat cheeses typical of the area, always accompanied by a good wine, of course.
